The ‘Make It Safe’ campaign was introduced in 2009 by the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) to highlight the importance of Sunblind safety and to ensure that high safety standards for internal window blinds are upheld.
The BBSA works with the UK Government and the Trading Standards Institute, as well as safety organisations such as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the Child Accident Prevention Trust in order to ensure that those working in the sunblind industry and those who use internal window blinds have access to expert advice.
