The Dutch Sunblind Canopy is an attractive and traditional external sunblind designed to help protect your furnishings from the sun, reduce the heat in your room, provide shade and to be an attractive feature around your window.
Established in 1817, and the country's oldest Sunblind manufacturer, we have made Dutch Canopies for over 100 years and we use our considerable experience in our product methods and in selecting high quality materials and components.
Originally wooden framed, the Dutch Sunblind frame is now constructed from anodised extruded aluminium. The design of the aluminium extrusion enables the frame to be very strong yet surprisingly light. The Dutch Sunblind is made to be either retractable or Fixed-positioned.
Our material brochures show the current range of colours and designs available in either Acrylic or PVC. There is a wider choice of materials in the Acrylic range and because of this, the Acrylic material is perhaps more popular, but both materials are very hard-wearing and are rot and water proofed. The valance trims are selected to compliment the material.
